This 'Bommbarda 91.5 mm Carcano' is a quasi-identical copy of the Austro-Hungarian mortar '9cm Minenwerfer M14'. Salvatore Carcano was one of the specialists of the Tori,no Arsenal. He is mainly known as the inventor of the infantry rifle Mannlicher-Carcano M91 of 6.5 x 57 mm appeared in 1891 and equipping most of the soldiers of the Italian army during WW1.
