This howitzer was given to Galena in April 1925 thanks to a local American Legion Post Nr193 petition. 150 guns and trench mortars were allocated to Illinois in these times ! ... !

This well preserved specimen has bee rededicated in 2004 thanks to the Galena Foundation, City of Galena and Friends of Galena History
