Originally given by the French Govt in 1924 to Australia and allocated to Hindmarsh, South Australia, this morser was acquired by a private collector when the local council found they couldn't afford to restore the gun. It was sold in 2011 to the Peter Jackson Collection in New Zealand. Serial no 853.
